In the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are often part of the process exhaust air. Companies in these industries have to clean the exhaust air flows so that the concentration of environmentally harmful substances in the exhaust air falls below the legal limit values. Probably the most important regulatory requirement in this context is the TA-Luft. It is part of the Federal Immission Control Act, which many European countries use as a benchmark. The immission requirements of the TA Luft serve to protect human health, ecosystems and vegetation from harmful environmental effects caused by pollutant emissions in industry. The immission requirements of the TA-Luft are precisely defined. In this context, the combination of cleaning and recycling is optimal.
