A sole network can be used to create heat recovery concepts, which utilizes the thermal energy from the refrigeration system and feeds it into the network. Buffer storage tanks can be used for optimal utilization of the thermal energy.

A sole network can also be used as a flow for high-temperature heat pumps or steam generation to increase the efficiency of the energy supply even further.
